Add Google Workspace Admin

  1. Login to Google Admin Console

    1. Browse to "https://admin.google.com"

  2. Disable Auto-Licensing

    1. Click 'Billing' and select 'License Settings' (Left-Hand Menu)
      1. If this option is not available go to step "Enable Free Cloud Identity" at the bottom, then come back to this step
    2. Hover over the Automatic Licensing (click to edit)
      1. Turn this option 'Off'

  3. Create a BOAZ admin user

    1. Click 'Directory' and select 'Users' (Left-Hand Menu)
    2. Click 'Add new user' (Banner menu)

    3. Fill Out User Info
      1. First Name = BOAZ
      2. Last Name = BOAZ
      3. Primary Email = BOAZ
      4. Secondary Email = Cloud@boaz.tech
      5. Phone Number = 7067456991
      6. Click 'Add New User' (Blue Button)

    4. This will generate a temporary password. Please share this Temporary Password with us via a secure channel.
      1.  You can text 706.745.6991 or email cloud@boaz.tech
      2. No context in the email or text is needed. This keeps things secure and obfuscated.

  4. Give BOAZ user Admin Permissions

    1. Select the newly created BOAZ user from the 'Directory' and 'Users' menu
    2. Click 'ASSIGN ROLES'
    3. Slide the slider beside 'Super Admin' to assign the role
    4. Click 'SAVE'
    5. All Done! We will confirm if we need anything else. Thank you!

  5. Enable Google Cloud Identity Free

    1. Click 'Billing' Select 'Get more services'
    2. Click 'Cloud Identity'
    3. Click 'GET STARTED' in the 'Cloud Identity Free'
    4. Go through the checkout process
    5. You should now see the 'License Settings'
    6. Go back to 'Disable License Setting' step above
